It’s funny how the Singapore media reports on issues such as this whole Mat Selamat incident. And when I say issues such as this, I mean incidents where the government fucks up, or fucks us up (NKF, means testing, missing budget predictions by S$7 billion i.e 1000% so as to raise GST without a valid reason as well as increase ministers’ pay). The blatancy in which the local media attempts to shift blame and absolve all responsibility on the government’s part is simply embarrassing and disgraceful. I don’t watch local tv so I wouldn’t know much about broadcast news. However I do read the Straits Times though, and there always seems to be a pattern after every major fuck up. There would be soft and misleading headlines and unimportant trivialities on the frontpage followed by a ten page pull out in the Home section detailing what happened but not who screwed up. Then there would be commentary in the Editorials about how the insert-name-here fuck up is good for the country and how our esteemed leaders have everything under control.
Of course, no government fuck up would be complete without some retards writing in to the forum.

I think the police watch too much Korean drams already. Every day there’s a new twist to the story. Giving away small and juicy details bit by delicious bit to entice you. First is his original pic. I went to IKEA the other day and had their delicious poached salmon and broccoli. Wanted to try something similar. I don’t know how to make that sauce so I cheated by using some instant spaghetti sauce. Milk, flour and mozzarella.
Tonkatsu, but using mince pork instead of the usual fresh choice cuts. Coated with egg white and panko (Jap bread crumbs). First time deep frying, I screwed up and the first one was totally chao dar -.-” I don’t know how much oil I’m supposed to use; I poured out almost half the bottle. And am I supposed to keep the oil to reuse or something?? Seems damn wasteful if I need to finish a bottle of oil every time I deep fry. Someone help.
This is my default seasoning when I’m lazy. Premade chopped garlic. Premade curry powder mixture. Premade ground herbs and spices. Really, who has the time to do all these nowadays.
